I will respond back within 48 hours or a few hours (I may be out of town) by calling you. We will talk about what you want to accomplish and schedule a first appointment. *physician's clearance may be necessary*
We will meet at the fitness studio and go thru the formalities of a health screen, gym waiver, policies and procedures for the first half hour and do a 30 minute introductory workout for the 2nd half of the hour. This workout will give me an idea of what we need to work on, such as flexibility, symmetry, coordination, cardiovascular fitness, areas of strength improvement. *Please eat prior to your first workout*

Honestly, it really depends on a number of factors. Are you currently working out on your own? Do you like the one on one accountability of having a trainer? What genetics were you dealt from your parents? Do you have health issues that may limit the amount of exercise? Do you have a specific goal with a specific time frame, such as a wedding or high school reunion? What is realistic for you based upon your work schedule and your finances? We can discuss this more. I have had people work with me once a week to as many as 5x a week. I will also hold people accountable for the days they work out on their own when not meeting with me.
Before our workouts, you should start by eating something that has enough calories to be readily available to get you through the workout. Something heavy and protein dense isn't going to be broken down fast enough, so you'll want to eat something that can be used immediately for energy. For example, oatmeal with fruit is a great option before a workout. Also, bring a sport drink to help get you through the workout if necessary.
As far as daily eating habits go, we have ready made meals to purchase at the gym and a couple chefs and meal prep planners who can customize your nutritional needs based upon your goals, food restrictions, as well as allergies. I focus on your fitness, they will focus on your nutrition.
